I hear a lot of people on Mormon podcasts are super into mindfulness and Buddhism, which I do love. But I always had kind of an eccentric part of me that was into one might say pagan type things. I’ve really delved into the symbolism of astrology, tarot, and Jungian psychology and using those archetypes to reconnect with trusting my intuition after it was so damaged by Mormonism. I’ve done trips like traveling to New Orleans with other women and doing rituals in magical places to reconnect with the divine feminine. I want to do similar trips to places like Greece where worship of goddesses happened. Not that I believe literally in pagan gods and goddesses, but as Jungian psychology would say there is power and numinousity in archetypes. I also love going to new moon and full moon circles to reconnect with my sensual, earthy womanhood.
